Just a comment, but can you throw in that packt publishing link to the book in the post? Makes it more user friendly ;-)

You can get it here (http://www.packtpub.com/catalyst-perl-web-application/book) and my understanding it's on Amazon or similar as well.

Isn't this book a little bit out of date since the release of Catalyst 5.8?

Yeah, the book is probably no longer canonical. Honestly, this post ended up getting generated when I joined the Catalyst Group. I just allowed the post since I wanted to raise awareness about the existence of the group, but I probably should have checked the automatic text.

This books is still reasonably short and with a look at. There's still useful things in there (I have it and find it a fun read through).
